PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a torque transmission joint 15a which can effectively absorb an attachment error between an output shaft 12a and a worm shaft 6a.SOLUTION: A buffer member 18a which is formed of an elastic material is constituted in such a manner that combination parts 33 to be gripped composed of a pair of parts 25a, 25b to be gripped, respectively, are arranged at four points at equal intervals in a circumferential direction, end parts of the circumferentially-adjacent parts 25a, 25b to be gripped are made to alternately continue to each other related to a circumferential direction by an outside diameter side covering part 31 and an inside diameter side covering part 32, and a cross section shape of the buffer member is formed into a cross cylindrical shape. Then, four pieces of drive-side arm parts 21a are arranged in a portion between a pair of the parts 25a, 25b to be gripped which constitute the combination parts 33 to be gripped, four piece of driven-side arm parts 23a are arranged in a portion between the circumferentially-adjacent combination parts 33 to be gripped, and when rotationally driving an output shaft 12a, a force directed to the inside of a radial direction of the buffer member 18a is made to act on the part 25a (25b) to be gripped.

    【課題】出力軸12aとウォーム軸6aとの組み付け誤差を効果的に吸収できるトルク伝達用継手15aを実現する。【解決手段】弾性材製の緩衝部材18aを、1対の被挟持部25a、25bより成る被挟持組み合わせ部33を円周方向等間隔4個所に配置し、円周方向に隣り合う被挟持部25a、25bの端部同士を、外径側覆い部31と内径側覆い部32とにより、円周方向に関して交互に連続させる事により構成し、その断面形状を十字筒状とする。そして、被挟持組み合わせ部33を構成する1対の被挟持部25a、25b同士の間部分に、4本の駆動側腕部21aを配置し、円周方向に隣り合う被挟持組み合わせ部33同士の間部分に、4本の被駆動側腕部23aをそれぞれ配置して、出力軸12aを回転駆動させた際に、被挟持部25a(25b)に緩衝部材18aの径方向内方に向いた力を作用させる。【選択図】図2
