PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat drive device capable of disconnecting a connection state of an input shaft and an output shaft more reliably.SOLUTION: A seat drive device comprises: a cylindrical member 35 into which a lifter shaft 31 L is fitted and inserted, and a worm wheel 23 is fitted and inserted in accordance with movement in an axial direction; a compression spring 39 for biasing the cylindrical member 35 in the axial direction toward the worm wheel 23; a rotatable intermediary member 40 into which a cylindrical part 36 of the cylindrical member 35 is loosely inserted; and a first cam member 51 for pressing a pressing piece 37 through the intermediary member 40 and releasing the fitting of the worm wheel 23 into the cylindrical member 35 by pressing a distal end part 43 when placed at a neutral position, and allowing the worm wheel 23 to be fitted and inserted into the cylindrical member 35 in accordance with rotation from the neutral position. The first cam member 51 is biased so as to hold the neutral position. An opposing face of the intermediary member 40 which can press the pressing piece 37 has a curved surface 42b for separating a pressed portion from the axis of the intermediary member 40 in accordance with the rotation of the first cam member 51 toward the neutral position.
