PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power transmission system including a crank continuously variable transmission, capable of using an engine brake while avoiding the increase in axial dimensions of the power transmission system.SOLUTION: If a vehicle decelerates at a time of forward movement, a driving force is reversely transmitted from driving wheels W to a first output shaft 12. However, a first one-way clutch 21 is disengaged, so that the driving force is not transmitted to an engine E via a continuously variable transmission T1 but the driving force transmitted from the driving wheels W is reversely transmitted to the engine E via a planetary gear mechanism 35 of a power transmission switching mechanism SC, as well as a ring gear 38, a carrier 37, a sun gear 36, an intermediate transmission mechanism 60, and an auxiliary transmission T2 to actuate an engine brake.
