PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely protect an occupant by constraining the occupant without a delay of timing at the occurrence of a side collision, and also constraining the occupant at both a door side of one seat and its opposite side.SOLUTION: A mass body 5 which moves to a direction reverse to a side collision direction by an inertia force accompanied by an impact at a side collision is attached to an arm member 3, a moving direction of the mass body 5 is converted into an appearance/retreat direction of a regulation member 6 by direction conversion means 9, the regulation member 6 is made to protrude to a side part of an occupant who is seated on a seat, and the movement of the occupant in left and right directions is regulated.

    【課題】側突発生時にタイミングの遅れなく乗員を拘束することができ、1つのシートのドア側およびその反対側の両方での乗員拘束を可能にして、より確実に乗員を保護できるようにする。【解決手段】側突時の衝撃に伴う慣性力により側突方向と逆方向に移動する質量体5をアーム部材3に取り付け、この質量体5の移動方向を方向変換手段9により規制部材6の出退方向に変換し、規制部材6をシートに着座した乗員の側部に突出させて、乗員の左右方向への移動を規制する。【選択図】図2
