PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric vehicle charge/discharge apparatus capable of using power of a built-in storage battery at the time of outage.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle charge/discharge apparatus 2 that charges a lithium battery 1a of an electric vehicle 1 and converts DC power stored in the lithium battery 1a to AC power to supply the converted AC power to the inside of a dwelling house 3 comprises: a backup storage battery 2d that is charged with power supplied from a commercial power system 6 and can start up the electric vehicle charge/discharge apparatus 2 in the case of not connecting with the electric vehicle 1 and not being supplied with power from the commercial power system 6; a control power supply generation circuit 2e for generating DC voltage by using power of the backup storage battery 2d; and a USB standard female terminal 2k for outputting DC voltage to the inside of the dwelling house 3.
