PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively avoid the running impossibility of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle height adjustment device 20 is provided which includes an air supply-discharge unit for supplying-discharging air to left-right air springs 24L and 24R provided respectively in left-right driving wheels 16L and 16R of a vehicle 1. The vehicle height adjustment device 20 further include: a pair of left-right number-of-revolutions sensors 30L and 30R for detecting a number of revolutions of the left-right driving wheels 16L and 16R; a pair of left-right internal pressure sensors 31L and 31R for detecting internal pressure of the left-right air springs 24L and 24R; an idling wheel determination part 41 for determining whether or not any one of the left-right driving wheels 16L and 16L is in an idling state based on a detection value of the number-of-revolutions sensors 30L and 30R and the internal pressure sensors 31L and 31R; and an idling wheel ground-contact control part 42 for causing the driving wheels 16L and 16R determined to be in the idling state to contact with ground by supplying the air to the air springs 24L and 24R of the driving wheels 16L and 16R determined to be in the idling state.
