PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorption structure of the interior components for vehicle in which a prescribed impact absorption performance is stably obtained by an impact absorption body of a bottomed square cylindrical shape.SOLUTION: In an impact absorption structure for vehicle, the protrusions 16 are provided to the support plates 30 protruded from the rear face 12 of the interior component 10 for vehicle, and the slits 20 are provided on the side walls 22 of an impact absorption body 18. When the impact absorption body 18 is pressed to relatively approach to the interior component 10, the protrusions 16 are relatively moved while deforming the groove width of the slit 20 to expand. Thereby, impact energy is absorbed by friction force or deformation resistance of the slit 20 or the like. As mentioned above, since the impact energy is absorbed by the relative movement of the protrusions 16 in the slits 20, possibility of variation in impact absorption manner is slim, and thus a prescribed impact absorption performance is stably obtained.

    【課題】有底角筒形状の衝撃吸収体によって衝撃を吸収する車両用内装部品の衝撃吸収構造において、所定の衝撃吸収性能が安定して得られるようにする。【解決手段】車両用内装部品10の裏面12に突設された支持板部30に突起16が設けられるとともに、衝撃吸収体18の側壁22にスリット20が設けられ、その衝撃吸収体18が相対的に車両用内装部品10に対して接近するように押圧される際に、突起16がスリット20の溝幅を拡張するように変形させつつ相対移動させられることにより、その時の摩擦力やスリット20の変形抵抗などで衝撃エネルギーが吸収される。このように突起16がスリット20内を相対移動させられることで衝撃エネルギーを吸収するため、その衝撃吸収態様がばらつく可能性が少なく、所定の衝撃吸収性能が安定して得られるようになる。【選択図】図1
