PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a gap which connects the outside and inside of a moving handrail between the moving handrail without increasing slide resistance with the moving handrail significantly in a handrail device.SOLUTION: A handrail device 20 of a passenger conveyor comprises: a guide rail 2 having flanges 3; a pressing tool 14 connected between side parts 22 on both sides of the guide rail 2 for pressing the side parts 22 outward; and a handrail guide 8 having engaging parts 28 covering the flanges 3 and engaging with inner curved parts 33 of the guide rail 2 when a moving handrail 4 is mounted, and facing parts 11 disposed to extend to positions facing opening end surfaces 35 which are boundary end surfaces with an opening part 39 in the moving handrail 4 when the moving handrail 4 is mounted. The pressing tool 14 engages the engaging parts 28 of the handrail guide 8 with the inner curved parts 33, and presses the facing parts 11 so as to come into contact with the opening end surfaces 35 when the moving handrail 4 is mounted.
【課題】欄干装置において、移動手摺との摺動抵抗が顕著に増加することなく、移動手摺との間に移動手摺の外部と内部がつながる隙間を無くすことを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明の乗客コンベヤーの欄干装置20は、フランジ3を有するガードレール2と、ガードレール2における両側の側部22間に接続され、側部22を外側に押圧する押圧器14と、フランジ3を覆うと共に移動手摺4が装着された場合にガードレール2の内曲部33に係合する係合部28、及び移動手摺4が装着された場合に移動手摺4における開口部39との境界端面である開口部端面35に対向する位置まで延伸して配置された対向部11を有する手摺案内8とを備え、押圧器14は、移動手摺4が装着された場合に、手摺案内8の係合部28を内曲部33に係合させると共に対向部11を開口部端面35に接触するように押圧することを特徴とする。【選択図】図2
