PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine which is invented as one of methods for reducing the emission of greenhouse gas "CO" to deal with global warming, and to utilize the internal combustion engine as power generation equipment.SOLUTION: The problems are solved by providing an extraction path JK for extracting mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide by reacting water and carbon with exhaust heat from the internal combustion engine and a gas storage tank TA for storing the extracted mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and by storing the extracted mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, or by using the extracted mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide as fuel for the internal combustion engine via the gas storage tank TA, or using the extracted mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide as fuel for an engine mounted in a conveyance device by mounting the extraction path JK in the conveyance device, or using hydrogen as fuel for the internal combustion engine and carbon dioxide as a starting material that is reformed to synthetic gas by turning carbon dioxide in exhaust gas also to mixture gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and further reforming synthetic gas of the extracted hydrogen and carbon monoxide to hydrogen and carbon dioxide in a synthetic gas reforming path GK.

    【課題】地球温暖化に対処する温室効果ガス「CO2」の排出削減であり、その為の1つの方法である内燃機関を発明して更にその内燃機関を発電設備とする。【解決手段】水と炭素とを内燃機関の排熱にて反応させて水素と一酸化炭素の混合気体を取り出す取り出し路JKと、取り出した水素と一酸化炭素の混合気体を畜ガスする畜ガスタンクTAとを設けており、該取り出した水素と一酸化炭素の混合気体を畜ガスするかあるいは畜ガスタンクTA経由で当該内燃機関の燃料として、更に前記取り出し路JKを運搬機器に搭載し運搬機器の載内機関の燃料として、更に排ガスの二酸化炭素も水素と一酸化炭素の混合気体にして、更に前記取り出した水素と一酸化炭素の合成ガスを合成ガス改質路GKにて水素と二酸化炭素に改質して水素を当該内燃機関の燃料として二酸化炭素を合成ガスに改質する出発材料とした。【選択図】図1
