PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the extension width of a tread surface in a getting-on/off assisting device which disposes the tread surface on which a passenger can step between a platform and a vehicle.SOLUTION: A getting-on/off assisting device comprises: a body part 61; a tread surface formation part 70 for forming a tread surface 79 by extending from the body part 61; and extension width change means 80 for changing an extension width of the tread surface 79 from the body part 61. In the tread surface formation part 70, a plurality of plate-like tread members 71 whose one side faces form the tread surface 79 are arranged side by side in an extension direction from the body part 61, and the adjacent tread members 71 are connected through bending parts 72 which can be bent around a shaft that is perpendicular to the extension direction and parallel to the tread surface 79. The extension width change means 80 changes the extension width of the tread surface 79 by allowing the bending of one bending part 72 and restricting the bending of other bending parts 72.

    【課題】プラットホームと車両との間に乗降者が乗ることが可能な踏面を配設する乗降補助装置において、踏面の延出幅の制御を容易にする。【解決手段】本体部61と、該本体部61から延出して踏面79を形成する踏面形成部70と、踏面70の本体部61からの延出幅を変更する延出幅変更手段80と、を備える。また、踏面形成部70は、一側面が踏面79をなす板状の踏板部材71が本体部61からの延出方向に沿って複数並び、隣接する踏板部材71が延出方向に対して垂直かつ踏面79と平行な軸を中心として屈曲可能な屈曲部72を介して連結されたものとする。また、延出幅変更手段80は、一の屈曲部72の屈曲を許容するとともに、他の屈曲部72の屈曲を規制することで踏面79の延出幅を変更するようにする。【選択図】図7
