PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module having excellent durability to temperature variation.SOLUTION: A solar battery module has a surface member having an incidence face to which sunlight is incident, and an emission face at the opposite side of the incidence face. Plural solar battery cells arranged along the emission face, each solar battery cell having a front surface confronting the emission face and a back surface at the opposite side of the front surface, an interconnector for connecting the front surface of the solar battery cell and the back surface of another solar battery cell adjacent to the solar battery cell, a sealing material layer which is provided at the emission face side of the surface member and has the plural solar battery cells and the interconnectors therein, and a back surface member provided at the back surface side of the plural solar battery cells with respect to the sealing material layer. The interval d between the solar battery cell and the back surface member and the linear expansion coefficient α at 23°C of the back surface member have a predetermined relationship.
