PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forcible halt system of a vehicle capable of externally forcibly halting a vehicle, which travels too fast while largely exceeding a speed limit, by utilizing existing facilities without the need of an enormous construction expense.SOLUTION: Included are a traffic enforcement camera (10) or automotive number automatic reader (20), an ATM line (30), a monitoring unit (40), an audio alarm unit (50), an LED flickering unit (60), an electromagnetic wave irradiation unit (70) that irradiates intense electromagnetic waves (W), which become an abnormal signal, to an ECU of a violating vehicle (VC), and an operating unit (80) with which the units are operated.

    【課題】第1の課題は、多額の建設費用を要することなく、既設の設備を活用し、制限速度を大巾に超過して暴走する車両を、外方から強制的に停止させることが可能な車両の強制停止装置を提供することである。【解決手段】自動速度違反取締装置(10)又は/及び自動車ナンバー自動読取装置(20)、ATM回線(30)、モニター装置(40)、音声警告装置(50)、LED点滅装置(60)、違反車両(VC)のECUに向けて異常信号となる強い電磁波(W)を放射する電磁波放射装置(70)、及び各装置を操作する操作装置(80)から構成されている。【選択図】図1
