PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driveability and minimize a power loss, by predicting an operational state including the start or stop of a vehicle to control a step-up converter.SOLUTION: A battery control apparatus of the present invention includes: a step-up converter 100 which increases a voltage of a battery 500 to apply it to a motor 30; a control device 200 which acquires and analyzes vehicle exterior image information obtained by imaging; and a step-up control device 200 which predicts an operational state including the start or stop of a vehicle, on the basis of vehicle exterior environment information obtained by analyzing the image information, and which controls pressure rising caused by a boosting part, on the basis of the predicted operational state.

    【課題】車両の発進又は停止を含む運転状態を予知して昇圧コンバータを制御することで、ドライバビリティを向上するとともに電力損失を最小限に抑える。【解決手段】本発明のバッテリの制御装置は、バッテリ500の電圧を昇圧してモータ30に印加する昇圧コンバータ100と、撮像により得られる車外の画像情報を取得して分析する制御装置200と、画像情報を分析して得られる車外の環境情報に基づいて、車両の発進又は停止を含む運転状態を予測し、予測した運転状態に基づいて、昇圧部による昇圧を制御する昇圧制御装置200と、を備える。【選択図】図1
