PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric propulsion device which improves fuel efficiency of an on-board generator, reduces a maintenance cost and extends a service life of a storage battery.SOLUTION: In a hybrid electric propulsion device, a storage battery 10 is connected to an on-board bus-line 8 through a charge and discharge device 11. Also, electric power consumption of invertors 5A and 5B for propulsion motors 4A and 4B and an on-board device 7 detected by electric power detectors 6A to 6C is input to a control device 20. The control device obtains average electric power consumption on the basis of total electric power consumption, in one voyage including anchorage, obtained by accumulating the electric power consumption during one voyage through detection signals from the electric power detectors and calculates a difference between the average electric power consumption during the voyage and the same of the previous voyage. The hybrid electric propulsion device: operates an on-board generator with electric power output thereof during the voyage including the anchorage close to the average electric power consumption by controlling the charge and discharge device on the basis of a deviation amount of the difference in the average electric power consumption; and allows the on-board generator to be constantly operated in a highly efficient region by setting rated output of the on-board generator to slightly higher than the average electric power consumption.

    【課題】船内発電機の燃費を向上させ、メンテナンス費用を削減し、蓄電池の寿命を延ばすハイブリッド電気推進装置を提供する。【解決手段】船内母線8に充放電装置11を介して蓄電池10を接続し、電力検出器6A〜6Cで検出した推進用電動機4A,4B用のインバータ5A,5Bの消費電力および船内機器7の消費電力を制御装置20に入力する。制御装置では、電力検出器からの検出信号によって、停泊中を含む一航海中に船内で消費される消費電力を積算して、総消費電力の平均消費電力値を求め、船内で消費される消費電力と一航海前に求めた平均消費電力値との差分を求める。求めた差分の消費電力偏差量に基づいて充放電装置を制御することにより停泊中を含む一航海中、船内発電機の出力電力を、平均消費電力値に近づけて運転すると共に、発電機の定格出力を平均消費電力値より少し大きく設定することにより発電機を常時高効率領域で運転させる。る。【選択図】図1
