PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body inclining device for a railroad vehicle that can quickly and accurately perform failure detection.SOLUTION: A vehicle body inclining device 10FL comprises, in an air flow path between an air spring 3FL and an air storage 4, a passive leveling valve 21A and an inclination leveling valve 21B that supply, exhaust and interrupt compressed air according to a height position of a vehicle body 1. A vehicle body inclination controlling portion 40, when lifting and inclining the vehicle body 1 or inclining and restoring the vehicle body 1, switches flow of the compressed air with an electromagnetic switch valve 31. Further, provided is a pressure switch 32 that performs switching between on and off by pressure of compressed air flowing through air piping 51B of an inclination-side flow path 50B. The vehicle body inclination controlling portion 40 memorizes previously, on the basis of abnormal operation of an electromagnetic valve device 30, the on or off state detected by the pressure switch 32 as a failure mode K1; and when switching the electromagnetic valve 31, collates the on or off state of the pressure switch 32 with the failure mode K1 so as to determine abnormality of the electromagnetic valve device 30.

    【課題】故障検知を早く且つ正確に行うことができる鉄道車両の車体傾斜装置を提供すること。【解決手段】車体傾斜装置10FLは、空気バネ3FLと空気溜め4の間の空気流路に、車体1の高さ位置に応じて圧縮空気の供給と排気と遮断を行うパッシブレベリングバルブ21A及び傾斜レベリングバルブ21Bを備える。車体傾斜制御部40は、車体1を上昇傾斜させるとき又は車体1を傾斜復帰させるとき、電磁切換弁31で圧縮空気の流れを切り換える。傾斜側流路50Bの空気配管51Bを流れる圧縮空気の圧力でオンとオフを切換える圧力スイッチ32が設けられている。車体傾斜制御部40は、電磁弁装置30の異常な動作に基づいて圧力スイッチ32が検出するオン又はオフの状態を故障モードK1として予め記憶していて、電磁切換弁31を切換える際に圧力スイッチ32のオン又はオフの状態と故障モードK1を照合して、電磁弁装置30の異常を判断する。【選択図】 図4
