PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle optical transmission/reception device that can be installed on the inner surfaces of windshields of vehicles of partial models and also enables the installation on vehicles of the other remaining models.SOLUTION: An optical beacon unit 1 is attached to the inside of a vehicle and transmits/receives an optical signal with an optical beacon arranged outside the vehicle. Each PD 31 receives an optical signal from the optical beacon and each LED 32 transmits an optical signal to the optical beacon. A board 30 mounts the PDs 31 and the LEDs 32, and a housing 10 stores the board 30. The housing 10 includes: an instrument panel adhesion surface 51 that can adhere onto the upper surface of the instrument panel of the vehicle so as to allow the PDs 31 and the LEDs 32 to face the optical beacon; and a windshield adhesion surface 21 that can adhere onto the inner surface of the windshield of the vehicle so as to allow the PDs 31 and the LEDs 32 to face the optical beacon.

    【課題】一部の車種の車両に対してはフロントガラス内面への設置を可能にしつつ、残りの他の車種の車両に対しても設置を可能とした車載用光送受信装置を提供する。【解決手段】光ビーコンユニット1は、車両の室内に取り付けられ、車両の外部に設置された光ビーコンとの間で光信号の送受信を行う。PD31は、光ビーコンからの光信号を受信し、LED32は、光ビーコンへ光信号を送信する。基板30は、PD31及びLED32を搭載し、筐体10は、基板30を収容する。筐体10は、PD31及びLED32が光ビーコン側を向くように車両のインストルメントパネル上面に接着可能なインストルメントパネル接着面51と、PD31及びLED32が光ビーコン側を向くように車両のフロントガラス内面に接着可能なフロントガラス接着面21と、を備える。【選択図】図2
