PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth assist according to the intention of a driver.SOLUTION: An electrically-assisted vehicle comprises: (A) a start sensor 106 outputting a start signal for compulsorily validating drive of a motor 105 according to torque input or pedal rotation input in response to a start instruction from a driver in a state in which drive of the motor 105 according to torque input or pedal rotation input becomes possible depending on the situation; and (B) a control unit 102 starting drive of the motor according to torque input or pedal rotation input when the start signal from the start sensor is detected. By thus providing the start sensor, it can be accurately detected that the start intention of the driver is instructed, and therefore assist can be quickly executed in response to the instruction.

    【課題】運転者の意図に従ってスムーズなアシストを可能にする。【解決手段】本電動アシスト車は、(A)トルク入力又はペダル回転入力に応じたモータ105の駆動が状況に応じて可能となる状態において、運転者からの発進指示に応じて、トルク入力又はペダル回転入力に応じたモータの駆動を強制的に有効化させるための発進信号を出力する発進センサ106と、(B)発進センサからの発進信号を検出した場合には、トルク入力又はペダル回転入力に応じて、モータの駆動を開始させる制御部102とを有する。このように発進センサを設けることによって運転者の発進意図が指示されたことを正確に検出できるので、当該指示に応じて速やかにアシストを実施できるようになる。【選択図】図1
