PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation recording device capable of being used in common for on-vehicle speed sensors even when the on-vehicle speed sensors are different from each other in the number of pulses generated.SOLUTION: A vehicle operation recording device 1 is provided which calculates vehicle running speed V at predetermined time intervals based on an output signal H of an on-vehicle speed sensor VS, and records the calculated running speed with respect to time. The vehicle operation recording device 1 includes recognition means for recognizing the number of generated pulse n for one rotation of a drive shaft of the on-vehicle speed sensor. The recognition means includes a position sensor 11 for acquiring a position signal of the vehicle, a time sensor 12 for acquiring a time signal, a frequency input part 13 for acquiring output signal frequency of the on-vehicle speed sensor, a speed measurement part 14 for measuring vehicle running speed based on the position signal by the position sensor and time signal by the time sensor, an identification part 15 for identifying the generated pulse number, by substituting the running speed measured by the speed measurement part and the output signal frequency input to the frequency input part to a relation expression of the output signal frequency, running speed, and generate pulse number, and a setting part 16 for setting the identified generated pulse number.

    【課題】車載速度センサの発生パルス数が相違しても汎用できる車両運行記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】車載速度センサVSの出力信号H基づいて車両の走行速度Vを所定時間間隔で演算し、当該演算された車両の走行速度を時刻に対して記録する車両運行記録装置1において、車載速度センサの駆動軸1回転あたりの発生パルス数nを認識する認識手段を備え、認識手段は車両の位置信号を取得する位置センサ11と、時間信号を取得する時間センサ12と、車載速度センサの出力信号周波数を取得する周波数入力部13と、位置センサによる位置信号と時間センサによる時間信号により車両の走行速度を測定する速度測定部14と、速度測定部により測定された走行速度と周波数入力部に入力された出力信号周波数とを、出力信号周波数と走行速度と発生パルス数との関係式に代入し発生パルス数を同定する同定部15と、同定された発生パルス数を設定する設定部16とを含む。【選択図】図1
