PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure which can make the rust prevention performance of electrodeposition coating applied on a steel plate constituting a sensor attachment member 19 sufficiently function, while suppressing an increase in a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A sensor attachment member 19a is applied with electrodeposition coating after preparing a bent part 32 formed by being bent outward in a radial direction from an outer end edge in an axial direction, at an outer end edge in the axial direction of a fitting cylinder part 20a to be externally fitted to a small-diameter stepped part 42 formed at an outer peripheral surface at an inner end in the axial direction of an outer ring 4 by press-working a steel plate. Then, an outer peripheral edge of the bent part 32 is separated from an outer peripheral surface of the small-diameter stepped part 42 which is not applied with rust prevention treatment out of a surface of the outer ring 4, and from an axially-opposing step surface 44.

    【課題】製造コストの増大を抑えつつ、センサ取付部材19aを構成する鋼板に施された電着塗装の防錆性能を十分に機能させられる構造を実現する。【解決手段】センサ取付部材19aは、鋼板をプレス加工して、外輪4の軸方向内端部外周面に形成された小径段部42に外嵌する為の嵌合筒部20aの軸方向外端縁部に、この軸方向外端縁部から径方向外方に向け折り曲げる事により形成された折り曲げ部32を設けた後、電着塗装が施される。そして、この折り曲げ部32の外周縁部を、外輪4の表面のうちで、防錆処理が施されていない小径段部42の外周面及び軸方向に対向する段差面44から離隔させる。【選択図】図1
