PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a driver should pay attention to drive operation at the place or not, regardless of necessity of direct detection of an obstacle or the like by various sensors, for suppressing quick start of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular communication device comprises: a light receiving unit 11 disposed on a vehicle; a signal reception unit 13 for detecting a communication signal superposed to visible light received by the light receiving unit 11; and a signal processing unit 15 for outputting quick start suppressing information for suppressing quick start of the vehicle, when the communication signal includes quick start caution information which has a predetermined format.

    【課題】各種センサによる障害物等の直接的な検出の要否に拘わらず、運転者が運転操作を注意すべき場所であるか否かを適切に判定して、車両の急発進を抑制する。【解決手段】車両に設けられた受光装置11と、受光装置11が受光した可視光に重畳された通信信号を検出する信号受信装置13と、通信信号が予め定められた形式の急発進注意情報を含む場合に、車両の急発進を抑制する急発進抑制情報を出力する信号処理装置15とを備える。【選択図】図1
