PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous start by combining an ultrasonic sensor and a navigation device.SOLUTION: An erroneous start warning system comprises: a navigation device 20 which determines the travel direction of an own vehicle with respect to obstacles (building, river and the like) of a parking area on the basis of map information, positional information and azimuth information of the own vehicle, and outputs it as vehicle direction information; ultrasonic sensors 101-108 which detect front and rear obstacles of the own vehicle; a sensor C/U 1 which controls the detection direction or sensitivity of the ultrasonic sensors 101-108 in accordance with vehicle direction information acquired from the navigation device 20; and a display part 27 and a sound output part 29 which output warning when the ultrasonic sensors 101-108 detect the obstacles.

    【課題】超音波センサとナビゲーション装置を組み合わせて誤発進を防止する。【解決手段】誤発進警報システムは、地図情報、自車両の位置情報および方位情報に基づいて、駐車場の障害物(建物、川等)に対する自車両の進行方向を判定し、車両方向情報として出力するナビゲーション装置20と、自車両の前方および後方の障害物を検知する超音波センサ101〜108と、ナビゲーション装置20から取得した車両方向情報に応じて、超音波センサ101〜108の検知方向または感度を制御するセンサC/U1と、超音波センサ101〜108が障害物を検知した場合に警報を出力する表示部27および音声出力部29を備える。【選択図】図1
