PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank which does not decrease inner usable capacity without generating extra costs.SOLUTION: In a plastic fuel tank having a lower wall, an upper wall and at least one reinforcing element connecting these two walls, the reinforcing element comprises a hollow plastic pillar 3 having an opening 1 in its lower part and having an opening 2 in its upper part, the lower opening 1 and the upper opening 2 is arranged at a such positions that they allow, respectively, filling of the pillar 3 and degassing of the pillar 3, and at least one part of the hollow pillar 3 is a constitutive element of an accessory 6 that has an active role in the tank.
