PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise generated at travel time from intruding into a vehicle.SOLUTION: A sliding door structure of a railway vehicle comprises an upper guide mechanism for guiding a sliding door 3b in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and guiding the sliding door 3b to the vehicle outside (one side in the vehicle width direction) just before the sliding door 3b reaches a closing position, when moving the sliding door 3b to the closing position for closing a boarding-alighting port by driving of an actuator. The sliding door 3b comprises a door body 31 and a door end elastic member 32 installed along the vertical direction on the door end of the door body 31 and being the same as a lower end height of the door body 31 in its lower end height. A lower abutting part opposed to a lower end part of a vehicle outside side surface of the door body 31 and the door end elastic member 32 when the sliding door is the closing position and contacting with the lower end part of the vehicle outside side surface of at least the door body 31 of the sliding door 3b, is provided along the lower edge of the boarding-alighting port, and at least one of a mutually contacting part of the lower end part and the lower abutting part of the vehicle outside side surface of the door body 31, is constituted of an elastically deformable lower compression member 34.

    【課題】走行時に発生する騒音が車内に侵入するのを防止する。【解決手段】鉄道車両の引戸構造は、アクチュエータの駆動により引戸3bを乗車口を閉じる閉位置へと移動させるときに、引戸3bを車両長手方向に案内すると共に、引戸3bが閉位置に至る直前で引戸3bを車外側(車両幅方向の一方側)に案内する上部ガイド機構を備えている。引戸3bは、戸本体31と、戸本体31の戸先に鉛直方向に沿って取り付けられ、その下端の高さが戸本体31の下端の高さと同じである戸先弾性部材32とを有する。引戸が閉位置のときに、戸本体31及び戸先弾性部材32の車外側の側面の下端部と対向すると共に、引戸3bのうち少なくとも戸本体31の車外側の側面の下端部と接触する下部当接部が乗降口の下縁に沿って設けられており、戸本体31の車外側の側面の下端部及び下部当接部の互いに接触する部分の少なくとも一方は、弾性変形可能な下部圧縮部材34で構成されている。【選択図】図10
