PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire position determining system capable of accurately determining tire position in a short time period.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure transmission machine 4 transmits ID radio wave Spi with which it may be determined that the tire air pressure transmission machine 4 reaches peak in tire rotating direction to a TPMS reception machine 12. TPMS reception machine 12 acquires axle rotation information (counted pulse value) for both of axles 18a to 18d at that time when the tire air pressure transmission machine 4 reaches the peak position. This operation is executed by ID1 to ID4 and by the acquired peaks so that data group of axle rotation information (counted pulse value) required for determination of the tire position may be collected. In addition, statistics of axle rotation information (counted pulse value) for each of axle 18a to 18d by ID1 to ID4 is taken so that distribution of axle rotation information (counted pulse value) by ID1 to ID4 is calculated. The tire position is determined with the distribution.
【課題】短時間で精度よくタイヤ位置を判定することができるタイヤ位置判定システムを提供する。【解決手段】タイヤ空気圧送信機4は、タイヤ空気圧送信機4がタイヤ回転方向のピークに位置したことを判断できるID電波SpiをTPMS受信機12に送信する。TPMS受信機12は、タイヤ空気圧送信機4がピーク位置をとるときの各車軸18a〜18dの車軸回転情報(パルス計数値)を取得し、この作業を、ID1〜ID4ごと、かつ取得したピークごとに実行して、タイヤ位置判定に必要な車軸回転情報(パルス計数値)のデータ群を収集する。そして、ID1〜ID4ごとに各車軸18a〜18dの車軸回転情報(パルス計数値)の統計をとることにより、ID1〜ID4ごとに車軸回転情報(パルス計数値)の分布を算出し、この分布からタイヤ位置を判定する。【選択図】図1
