PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which can charge even a power storage device in which deterioration has progressed, under appropriate conditions.SOLUTION: A charging circuit supplies a charging current to a power storage device. A voltage sensor measures voltage between terminals of the power storage device. A degree of deterioration sensor measures a physical quantity dependent on the degree of deterioration of the power storage device. A controller stops charging by controlling the charging circuit from a moment in time when the voltage between the terminals of the power storage device, measured by the voltage sensor, has reached the timer operation time to a moment in time when the timer operation time has elapsed, after start of charging. On the basis of the physical quantity measured by the degree of deterioration sensor, the controller sets at least one of the timer operation voltage and timer operation time.
【課題】 劣化が進んだ蓄電装置でも、適切な条件で充電を行うことができる充電装置を提供する。【解決手段】 充電回路が、蓄電装置に充電電流を供給する。電圧センサが、蓄電装置の端子間電圧を測定する。劣化度センサが、蓄電装置の劣化の度合いに依存する物理量を測定する。制御装置が、充電開始後に、電圧センサで測定された蓄電装置の端子間電圧がタイマ動作電圧に到達した時点から、タイマ動作時間が経過した時点に、充電回路を制御して充電を停止させる。制御装置は、劣化度センサにより測定された物理量に基づいて、タイマ動作電圧及びタイマ動作時間の少なくとも一方を設定する。【選択図】 図2
