PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic valve and a brake unit capable of suppressing size increase and deterioration of efficiency while improving controllability.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic valve comprises: a movable element 43 which can close a flow channel by contacting a sheet part 44b in non-operation; a stator 42 arranged at a shaft direction position of the movable element; a coil 40 which generates electromagnetic force so as to stroke the movable element in a direction separating from the sheet part; a first elastic member 50 which energizes the movable element toward the sheet part; and a second elastic member 49 which is arranged in parallel with the first elastic member, energizes the movable element toward the sheet part, and has characteristics different from those of the first elastic member.
