PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute calculation by switching to countdown based on an estimated time of charging end or an upper limit charging time, on the basis of a fixed condition, in the case where the upper limit charging time is set.SOLUTION: A charging system includes: an estimated time calculation part for calculating a scheduled time of charging end on the basis of state information of a secondary battery; an actual time countdown calculation part for calculating an estimated time of charging end based on an actual time from the estimated time of charging end; an SOC countdown calculation part for calculating the estimated time of charging end on the basis of increase of SOC of the secondary battery; and an upper limit charging time setting part. The charging system further includes: a determination part for determining the estimated time of charging end of the secondary battery by comparing the estimated time of charging end calculated by the actual time countdown calculation part and the SOC countdown calculation part with the estimated time of charging end based on the upper limit charging time set by the upper limit charging time setting part; and a display part for displaying a result of the determination as the estimated time of charging end of the secondary battery.
