PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method useful for appropriately evaluating frictional force of tread rubber of a tire.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for evaluating frictional force of a tire 1 performs: a step S1 of preparing a dynamic coefficient of friction measuring device 11; a step S2 of preparing a first rubber sample 18A cut out from the tire 1 including a surface 1s of the tire 1; a step S3 of measuring a plurality of times dynamic coefficients of friction of the first rubber sample 18A by pressing a surface 18As of the first rubber sample 18A against a target surface 16 for measurement of a dynamic coefficient of friction to move relatively; and a step S4 of examining the number of measurement times until the measured dynamic coefficients of friction become substantially constant.
