PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a rotary angle of a rotor properly and control magnetization of a stator properly even when a rotary angle sensor for detecting the rotor rotary angle of a motor is broken.SOLUTION: A resolver for outputting a pulse signal for each minute rotary angle and a standard signal for each specific standard angle is provided on a front motor of a front wheel and a rear motor of a rear wheel, respectively. By integrating the pulse signals outputted from the respective resolvers and resetting them at output timing of the standard signal, sawtooth wave-shaped rotary angle signals SIGf, SIGr are generated, and a rotor rotary angle of the corresponding motor is determined. For example, when the front resolver is broken, the rotary angle signal SIGf is generated by multiplying a ratio of both motor deceleration ratio to the rotary angle signal SIGr on the rear side, and based on the rotary angle signal SIGf, a rotary angle of the rotor of the front motor, is estimated.

    【課題】モータのロータ回転角を検出する回転角センサの故障発生時においても、ロータの回転角を的確に判別してステータの励磁を適切に制御でき、もって正常な走行を継続できる電気自動車のモータ制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】前輪のフロントモータ及び後輪のリヤモータに、微小回転角毎のパルス信号と特定基準角毎の基準信号とを出力するレゾルバを設け、各レゾルバから出力されるパルス信号を積算して基準信号の出力タイミングでリセットして鋸波状の回転角信号SIGf,SIGrを生成し、対応するモータのロータ回転角を判別する。例えばフロントレゾルバの故障発生時には、リヤ側の回転角信号SIGrに対し両モータの減速比の比を乗算して回転角信号SIGfを生成し、この回転角信号SIGfに基づきフロントモータのロータの回転角を推定する。【選択図】図2
