PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, a communication system and a communication method, capable of packet transfer according to a road line shape without using road line shape information, while suppressing unnecessary packet transfer.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 includes: a position information acquisition unit 110 for acquiring information indicative of the present position of the communication device and the traveling direction of a vehicle unit 200; a receiver unit 120 for receiving from a transmission source a packet including transfer information indicative of the positions of the transmission source and a transmission destination; and a transmitter unit 150 for calculating an angle between a packet transmission direction, which is determined based on the positions of the transmission source and the transmission destination indicated by the transfer information, and the traveling direction of the vehicle unit 200, and for determining the packet transmission direction from the vehicle unit 200 when the calculated angle does not exceed a threshold, to transmit the packet to the determined packet transmission direction.

    【課題】不要なパケット転送を抑制しつつ、道路線形情報を用いることなく道路線形に応じたパケット転送を行うことができる通信装置、通信システムおよび通信方法を提供する。【解決手段】通信装置100は、その現在位置と車両部200の進行方向とを示す情報を取得する位置情報取得部110と、送信元の位置と送信先の位置とを示す転送情報を含むパケットを送信元から受信する受信部120と、転送情報の示す送信元の位置と送信先の位置とに基づいて定まるパケットの送信方向と、車両部200の進行方向と、のなす角度を算出し、その角度が閾値を超えない場合には、車両部200からのパケットの送信方向を定め、定めたパケットの送信方向にパケットを転送する送信部150と、を含む。【選択図】図1
