A free-walking transport traffic operation mode including a transportation network operation platform formed by connecting a constant speed belt, a transfer belt, and a variable speed belt. Transition sections are connected synchronously and seamlessly in the same direction, and the platform corresponds to the transition sections in both directions. The operation mode for passengers to get on and get off belts in all directions satisfies the demand of passengers for freely walking in all directions within a transportation network distribution area. The constant speed belt may run between platforms with a transfer belt running at the same speed as the constant speed belt allowing passengers to get on and off the constant speed belt. The variable speed belt may be connected to the transfer belt allowing passengers to embark/disembark near residential or commercial areas via an independent variable speed belt.
