A three-dimensional interior part 2 for an automobile comprises a UV printed decorative veneer. There is also provided a method of forming a UV printed veneer on a three-dimensional part for an automobile, the method comprising in order: (1) Providing a veneer; (2) Sanding the veneer; (3) Applying a decorative pattern 1 to the veneer by UV printing; (4) Pressing the UV printed veneer onto the three-dimensional part; and (5) Applying one or more layers of lacquer. The method may also include mounting the veneer on a backing; applying a base layer to the veneer; repairing the veneer, if required; applying a sealant to the printed veneer; and milling the veneer. The three-dimensional part may be a dashboard, door panels, a centre console, footplates, armrests, boot floors, floor mats, seat backs and individual panels /sections thereof.
