A drivetrain arrangement for a braking system comprising a brushless DC (BLDC) motor, comprising a rotor 1.2 mounted on a rotor tube 3, a housing 2, a planetary gear mechanism comprising: a ring gear 6.1 mounted on the housing, having a first number of teeth (Nr), a sun gear 6.2 mounted on said rotor tube, configured to simultaneously rotate with the rotor tube, having a second number of teeth (Ns), a plurality of identical planetary gears 6.3, each of the planetary gears being rotationally fixed on a planetary carrier 6.4. A drive sleeve 5.2 connected to the planetary carrier and to a ball screw-drive 4.1, A nut threaded to, and can move linearly along, the ball screw is connected to a piston slidable within a piston housing for creating pressure for a braking system. The drivetrain arrangement is configured such that the speed of the piston is directly dependent on the ratio between the first number of teeth and second number of teeth.
