A wheeled vehicle 10 able to regulate its lateral tilt comprises left- and right- wheel-bearing arms (66, 68) pivotally coupled to the chassis (18), so that pivotal movement of the wheel-bearing arms (68) provide up and down movement of the wheels. Left and right control lines (76, 82) are led from each wheel-bearing arm (68) to an actuator (84) allowing upward movement of each wheel (14,16) relative to the chassis to be restrained by the control lines. The actuator (84) is operable in either direction to pay out one control line (76) whilst drawing in the other, permitting one wheel (14,16) to move up relative to the chassis (18) and other wheel (14,16) to move down, thereby causing the vehicle (10) to tilt. The actuator may be controlled dependent on tilt sensors and the actuator may also be disengageable from the control lines in one mode of operation.
