An aerofoil, such as an aircraft wing, may be formed from a torsion box 31, having a first mount 311, and an attachable fixed leading, or trailing, edge structure 32, having a second mount 321. The mounts are configured to permit moving into engagement along a first direction, and prevent relative movement of the mounts along a second direction when engaged. Preferably, the first direction is vertical with respect to an intended operational orientation of the aerofoil, and the second direction is a chordwise direction. The second mount may be a pin, mounted on a rib 324, and oriented to be parallel to a major axis of the torsion box, the orientation adjustable using a spherical bearing. The first mount may have a pin receiving recess fixed to a web of a torsion box spar 314. Preferably, a locking clamp plate 33 prevents the pin disengaging from the recess. Preferably, the leading or trailing edge structures have an outer skin 322 with an opening 323 to permit access to the pin, and fasteners securing the locking plate; a panel 34 covers the opening, forming a smooth aerodynamic surface. Multiple mounts may be spaced along the span of the aerofoil.
