An articulated canopy support for a mobility scooter, having a rear member 7 and a roof member 8. The members 7, 8 being movable from (a) a deployed configuration in which the rear member 7 extends generally vertically from behind the seat of a scooter and in which the roof member 8 extends generally horizontally and forwardly from the top of the rear member, to (b) a stowed configuration, in which the rear 7 and roof members 8 are positioned behind the seat of a scooter. Preferably a front member 9 is provided extending forwardly and downwardly from the roof member 8 in the deployed configuration and being located behind the scooter seat in the stored configuration. Optionally there is provided a mounting bracket 16 to attach the canopy support to a lower region of a scooter and secondary brackets may be provided 17 to attach the support of opposing side regions of a scooter.
