Apparatus for preventing unauthorised access to an ignition barrel on a vehicle such as a van comprises a support arm 10 with a clamp 8 at one end and a fixing bracket 52 at the other end. The fixing bracket is attached to the dashboard of the vehicle by bolts 48, 50 passing through holes 44, 46. The clamp 8 secures to the ignition switch barrel to prevent unauthorised access thereto and to prevent bypass of the vehicle immobiliser system. The arm 10 is typical made of sheet metal. The apparatus is intended for use with a Mercedes (RTM) Sprinter van or a Volkswagen (RTM) Crafter(RTM) van.
