A vehicle for transporting a cargo, having a vehicle frame comprising: a base frame 118 member extending substantially parallel to the ground, said base frame member having at least a front transportation member 120 in contacting engagement with the ground. An adjustment frame member 124 is movably coupled to said base frame member, and having a user supporting portion 142, said adjustment frame member having at least a rear transportation member 122 in contacting engagement with the ground. Said front transportation member and rear transportation member together defining a footprint of the vehicle. The adjustment frame member is operably coupled to said base frame member and adapted to selectively move relative to said base frame member between: an extending position having a first footprint in which said user supporting portion is configured to support a user within said footprint; and a collapsed position having a second footprint smaller than said first footprint. The adjustment frame may be slidingly coupled to said base frame member and may or may not overlap each other. A frame locking mechanism may be present with a plurality of locating positions. The vehicle may have a brake and may have steering.
