The mast has an elementary structural unit (10) including a lower platform (13) and an upper platform (12), where the platforms are parallel to a plane (YZ) orthogonal to a longitudinal deployment axis (X). The structural unit includes stages stacked above one another parallel to the longitudinal deployment axis. Each stage includes three longitudinal flexible tape-springs (11), where each tape-spring includes upper and lower ends fixed on the upper and lower platforms, respectively. The tape-springs are identical and of the same length.
