The equipment (DN2) has a housing comprising a lower part (PI) that is provided with a main inlet (EL) for supplying a liquid into the housing. An atomizing unit (MN) is placed at the lower part to produce small liquid drops by piezoelectric effect. An upper part (PS) of the housing is provided with an outlet (SG) that communicates with a pipe (CD), where a pulsated air flow to be treated flows through the pipe. A secondary inlet (EA) of the upper part feeds air into the liquid drops produced towards the outlet such that the liquid drops are transferred into the pulsated air flow. An independent claim is also included for an air treatment device.
