If an operation point being sought can be reached by a plurality of operation types for the hybrid drive train (40), the operation type having the lowest equivalent fuel consumption is determined, a change in mode for the infinitely variable transmission is controlled on the basis of the operation type for the hybrid drive train (40) having the lowest equivalent fuel consumption, and the rotation speed and the torque of the internal combustion engine (1) are determined on the basis of the operation type of the hybrid drive train (40) having the lowest equivalent fuel consumption.
