The present invention provides a flexible photovoltaic assembly (100) comprising: a first attachment unit (101) and a second attachment unit (102) spaced apart from the first attachment unit (101); a flexible strap device (103), which is attached to the first attachment unit (101) and to the second attachment unit (102); and at least one solar cell unit (104), which is attached to the flexible strap device (103). Moreover, the present invention provides a solar panel (10) containing such a flexible photovoltaic assembly (100) as well as a spacecraft (1) containing such a solar panel (10). Further, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a flexible photovoltaic assembly.
