The disclosure relates to a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a styrenic block copolymer for improved adhesion properties, particularly to metals. The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises, at least, a hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (HSBC), a polypropylene (PP), and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The composition provides comparable or better performance than a TPU-based composition containing a plasticizer/oil. The thermoplastic elastomer composition further comprising a modified hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer containing a maleic anhydride.
