The invention is directed to a valve device (100) for an air-suspension system (500) that comprises an input port (1) for receiving compressed air (A), an output port for providing compressed air (A) to an air bellow (504) and an exhaust port (3). It comprises a flow control unit (102) with a mechanical control input interface (104) for receiving a mechanical input signal (MS) for mechanically controlling the flow control unit (102) and an electrical control input unit (106) for receiving an electrical input signal (EL) for electrically controlling the flow control unit (102). A valve unit (108) is configured to control a respective pneumatic connection (P1, P2) in dependence on the mechanical input signal (MS) and the electrical input signal (ES). The electrical control input unit is configured to receive the electrical input signal (EL) and to provide a pneumatic control signal (PS) for pneumatically controlling the valve unit (108).
