Systems and methods for 5G based landing, navigation, and position augmentation are described herein. In one example, a method includes receiving 5G signals from a plurality of 5G base station and processing the received 5G signals from a plurality of 5G base stations to obtain 5G position information. The method further includes receiving position correction information for the 5G position information from a ground reference station. The method further includes determining a position of a vehicle based on the 5G position information and the position correction information. The method further includes providing navigation guidance to the vehicle based on the determined position of the vehicle.
