The present invention relates to an aircraft passenger seating arrangement (10', 10") comprising at least two seats (10', 10") arranged facing each other along a longitudinal axis (y) each seat (10', 10") being provided with a seat portion (11) and a backrest portion (12). At least a first front seat (10'; 10") comprising a footrest portion (13) facing the second rear seat (10") and arranged adjacent to the seat portion (11) of the same seat separated by a partition wall (14). Further, said two seats (10', 10") being spaced apart along said longitudinal axis (y) by a first distance (D20) such as to form an interspace (20) extending in width along a second axis (x) transversal to said longitudinal axis (y) for substantially the area in width of said two seats (10', 10"). Said arrangement of seats (10', 10") being characterised in further providing a mobile element (1) independent from both said two seats (10', 10"), arranged in said interspace (20) in correspondence with the footrest portion (13) of the first seat (10') and comprising an upper support surface (8) arranged at the same height of the footrest portion (13) of the first seat (10') and of the seat portion (11) of the second seat (10"). Moreover, it is characterised in that said upper support surface (8) of said mobile element (1) is extensible in width along said second axis (x) so that it assumes a first retracted configuration, wherein it fills the portion of said interspace (20) in correspondence with the footrest portion (13) of the first seat (10') leaving the remaining portion of said interspace (20) empty in at least a portion of said seat portion (11) of said second seat (10") for allowing the passenger to access said second seat (10") and for accommodating the legs of the passenger seated on said second seat (10") and a second extended configuration wherein said upper support surface (8) is more extended in width along said second axis (x) than said retracted configuration, so as to fill almost completely also the remaining portion of said interspace (20) along said second axis (x) also in correspondence with said seat portion (11) of said second seat (10') for forming a single bed surface with said footrest portion (13) of said first seat (10') and said seat portion (11) of said second seat (10"). Further, it is an object of the present invention to provide an airplane seat mobile element capable of being arranged in the interspace between two seats arranged opposite each other in an arrangement according to the invention.
