A single shock suspension fork for bicycles is provided. The single shock suspension fork includes a fork crown (1), a shock absorber (2), a fork brace (3) and two lower fork tubes (4). The two lower fork tubes (4) are fixed and connected with two ends of the fork brace (3) and a top end of each of the lower fork tubes (4) projecting from the fork brace (3) is inserted into a hole (12) on each of two ends of the fork crown (1). A middle part of the fork brace (3) is connected with a first end (21) of the shock absorber (2) while a second end (22) of the shock absorber (2) is inserted and connected with a steerer tube (11) at a central part of the fork crown (1). Thereby the single shock suspension fork has simple structure, labor-and-time saving assembly, and convenient maintenance. Thereby shortcomings of conventional dual shock absorbers (2) such as high manufacturing cost and time-consuming assembly can be overcome.
