The present invention comprises: a chock (8) to lock displacement of a vehicle (1); distance (10), position (11), and orientation (12) sensors, contained in the chock (8), to determine distance, position, and orientation parameters of the chock (8), and to send data about the parameters, through a wireless communication network (WAN); a receiver (13), to receive the data through the communication network; a control unit, in communication with the receiver (13), and programmed to evaluate whether the values of the parameters are within or outside of predetermined ranges, and to provide a response based on said evaluation; a user interface, to communicate to an operator the result of the evaluation; and an electrical power supply (9) to power the sensors (10, 11, 12) and the communication network. It allows determining whether the vehicle (1) is correctly locked.
