The charging cable (5) is a coaxial cable having an inner conductor (DC+) and a hollow-cylindrical outer conductor (DC-), wherein the inner conductor (DC+) is designed for a first nominal voltage and the outer conductor (DC-) is designed for a second nominal voltage, the quotient of the first nominal voltage and the second nominal voltage being in a range between 1.1 and 5, preferably in a range between 1.3 and 4, more preferably in a range between 1.6 and 3.
