The present disclosure relates to providing an obstacle detection means that is applicable to a moving body such as a train and is based on highly accurate depth information with respect to both a short-distance object and a long-distance object. An obstacle detection device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first depth representation generation unit that generates first depth representation representing a distance between the moving body and an object that is present near the moving body by using a parallax image generated from a first image and a second image, a second depth representation generation unit that generates second depth representation representing a distance between the moving body and an object that is present near the moving body by processing the first image by a predetermined machine learning method, a third depth representation generation unit that generates combined depth representation representing a distance between the moving body and the object that is present near the moving body more accurately than the first depth representation and the second depth representation by combining the first depth representation and the second depth representation, and an obstacle detection unit that generates obstacle information relating to the obstacle near the moving body by using the combined depth representation and outputs the obstacle information.
